The Ultimate Caribbean Vacation Playlist

Picture this,
Warm golden sun rays shining down on long limbed palm trees, their leaves blowing gently.
Crystal blue oceans playing a melodic dance with the coast, swaying softly, steady, quiet.
Live stock roaming in the most luscious pastures as free as intended.
Now, think of the rhythms that best compliment the scenery.

Thanks to some amazing people, here's a compiled list of songs that will get you in the mood for a fun day in the Caribbean sun.

YAYOI KUSAMA : Infinity Mirrors

There are some people who just get it. By "it" I mean the underlying truth of all creation. You can see said truth through colors in paintings that hang on museum walls, or through the perfect collision of fractions that play aloud and create the most beautiful musical pieces the ears can hear. It's called God. The beauty of the world is the little glimpses of God that hang around every corner, in every thought, in everything. Some are a tad better at recognizing the glimpses and some are great at creating it. We call these creators ARTISTS.                                                                           Japanese artist Yoyoi Kusama displays her understanding through works that promote messages that we all subconsciously know but ...

The Metropolitan Museum of Art- New York, NY

The Met, as in, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, is a monster of a museum. It houses some of the most famed artists and artifacts throughout centuries of human history. On one end you can learn about the mummification process in ancient Egypt and at the other, you can be standing in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The various escapes to different genres of life provides visitors with enough information to settle any curiosities. At this point, I've been able to lay eyes on some of the best museums in the world and The Met just evokes that "Major Alert!" feel. Some museums have quaint cosy vibes, and others pure, simple and fresh, but then the are the "Other, others" which houses more than anything else, visitors.      If you love art and care deeply about all of its nuances, it may be important to try to feel the space around you, and even think of the history of the person who made what's in front of you. But often times in the major museums,...
