DRIES : A Film By Reiner Holzemer

On November 16, The Hirshorn Museum and Relish came together to provide guests with a special screening of DRIES, a documentary by Reiner Holzemer which shows the intimate portrait of the fashion designer Dries Van Noten. After, guests were treated to an intimate conversation between Holzemer and Pulitzer Prize- winning fashion critic Robin Givhan.

As expected, guests of the event showed up in their Sunday's best adding a stylish flair to the evening.

The Met, as in, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, is a monster of a museum. It houses some of the most famed artists and artifacts throughout centuries of human history. The National Museum of African Art hosted a conversation with artists Mary Sibande, Ayana V. Jackson, Panashe Chigumadzi and Lanisa Kitchiner to discuss how they use their art to provoke thought in a zeitgeist of racial tension.
